About
Attorney A. Lewis Lowery, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney who has been practicing family law in the Fredericksburg area for 35+ years.
A lifelong Virginia resident, Lowery received his law degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. After graduation, he worked as a prosecutor, serving as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the Cities of Alexandria and Fredericksburg. When he moved into private practice in 1993, he established two successful partnerships: The first was the law firm of Ellis & Lowery in Spotsylvania County; the second was the law firm of Rinehart, Lowery, Strentz & Butler, which eventually became the largest family law practice in Stafford County.
In 2011, Attorney Lowery established a solo practice in the City of Fredericksburg, where he continues to focus his practice on family law. His family law practice includes, but is not limited to, divorce, property settlement agreements, child custody and visitation, child support, and spousal support.
Attorney Lowery is in court almost every day throughout the Fredericksburg area, primarily in the city and in the counties of Spotsylvania and Stafford. His practice also takes him to court in the surrounding counties of King George, Caroline and Orange.
